During the Covid pandemic 2020-2022, the Australian automotive paint industry which relies on importing, struggled to keep up with demand. This resulted in nationwide automotive paint & coating product shortages.
After many years of retailing a range of automotive paint & coatings brands to the Australian market, Lewis Cavalieros made the brave decision to tackle this shortage problem head on by expanding the Australian automotive paint & coatings market. Lewis commenced on a journey to source and import the highest quality automotive paint & coatings products at the best rates possible, offering Australians great value and more choice.
After extensive product and market testing in Australia, in 2020, Lewis entered into negotiations with the South Korean Paint company Noroo Paint & Coatings and National Paint Supplies Australia was born.

Lewis Cavalieros, director of National Paint Supplies Australia Pty Ltd, travelled to Noroo HQ, South Korea in 2022 to represent our Australian company in a contract signing ceremony where the Bodyian brand was launched to the Australian market.
